REVERE, MASS — The Boston Renegades continued their winning streak with a 62-0 shutout of the visiting Baltimore Nighthawks. Tee Creech scored two special teams touchdowns and Chanté Bonds rushed for two scores to lead the Renegades to victory.

The game began in exciting fashion when Quarterback Allison Cahill threw an interception — her only this season — on the first play from scrimmage. Baltimore’s Breonna Brewer returned it all the way to Boston’s 7 yard line. It would be the nearest the Nighthawks would come to scoring. Allie Genereux made a tackle for a loss, Christina Riggieri pressured Baltimore Quarterback Sherri Anderson into throwing an incompletion, and Genereux collected a sack before Baltimore turned the ball over on downs with a muffed field goal attempt. By game’s end, Genereux would lead the Renegades defense in combined tackles and Riggieri would collect Boston’s only turnover of the game — a fumble recovery that set up Bonds’ second rushing score. Deanna Walsh and Alex Troncoso would also collect a sack each.

Cahill had a relatively quiet day with only 11 pass attempts, but she finished with three touchdowns and 124 passing yards. Boston instead took a run-heavy approach to offense. Rookie Katie Falkowski handled 14 of the 26 carries, gaining 85 yards while scoring twice. Bonds carried six times for 86 yards and two touchdowns. Alison Gauvin carried six times for 40 yards and also caught a 15-yard reception.

Adrienne Smith, Stephanie Pascual, and rookie Kyshani Dummott accounted for Boston’s three receiving touchdowns. Pascual led all receivers with three receptions and 58 yards.

Tee Creech dazzled in her special teams role as punt returner, returning five punts for a whopping 235 yards and two touchdowns. Creech also tallied a tackle on defense.

With the victory, Tight End Kathryn Tylander reached a milestone of 100 victories earned on the gridiron. Originally a member of the 2010 Boston Militia, Tylander is a five-time National Champion. She joins Vicky Eddy, Amy Saur, Jennifer Olivieri, Allison Cahill, Shana Segers, Jessica Cabrera, Charlene Casey, Amanda Alpert, Mia Brickhouse, Briannah Gallo, and Adrienne Smith as a member of Boston Women’s Football’s “100 Club”.

After a bye week, the Renegades with hit the road for a rematch with the D.C. Divas on June 5. The game is scheduled to air on Next Level Sports network and stream on FTFNext platforms.
