Mariette Martinez of East Stroudsberg, Pa., joined the Boston Renegades women’s pro football team in 2022 as a rookie defensive back and wide receiver.

Martinez is also a member of the U.S. Women’s National Football Team. The team won the gold medal at the 2022 IFAF Women’s World Championship.
