Brooke Goodman attended Belmont University in her native Nashville, Tenn. She played soccer and was an Atlantic Sun Conference All-Academic all four years. At the time of her graduation she reached top 15 in matches played and matches started for the program, and top ten in points scored. And she remains among the program’s top ten in fastest goals scored.
Brooke’s soccer skills translated into placekicking for the Renegades. In the 2018 season she kicked 92.3% (36/39) on extra points including going 13/14 in the playoffs. Also, she dispensed free hugs as a starting defensive end. Brooke Goodman ‘s physical and mental toughness after suffering an ACL injury is a focal point in the documentary Born To Play. The four-time Team Captain retired after the 2019 season.
