Spring Gamble is a veteran of the Philadelphia women’s football scene, having played for the Philadelphia Phantomz and the Philadelphia Firebirds. She began coaching youth football in 2010, and in 2019 she became the first female head coach in the history of Philadelphia’s famed Liberty Youth Athletic Association (Pop Warner).
Spring joined the Renegades in 2019. Since then she has become one of the linebacking corps hardest tacklers. Her relentless play earned her her second All-American selection in 2021.
She excelled in athletics from an early age, garnering recognition in youth baseball, youth football, and youth track and field in the city of Philadelphia. While attending The Philadelphia High School for Girls, Gamble was captain of the softball team, while continuing her accomplishments in track and field. She won multiple All Public League championships in shot put (3) and discus (2), and was twice recognized with a City of Philadelphia MVP Award in Field Events. Gamble also competed in the Pennsylvania state track and field finals and the AAU National Junior Olympic Games. She continued her track and field career at Bloomsburg University where she broke the school’s indoor shot put record twice, setting the current record in 2011.
Off the athletic fields, Gamble hones her craft as a recording artist.
