Although she is new to football, Cole enjoys “being part of such an amazing group of women who take their craft so seriously.” She elaborated, “their devotion to each other and their team’s reputation is infectious and I can’t help but love the game as much as they do.” But being motivated isn’t a new thing for Cole. Inspired by her mother who “attended every school play, every game and every event I’ve ever had and has always pushed me to be the best I can be,” Tyrra pursued softball, volleyball, cheerleading, track and field, and JROTC at Hyde Park (Mass.) High School in Boston before attending Mt. Ida College. Cole works in the MBTA Operations Control Center and aspires to become Deputy Division Chief with the MBTA.
