The Boston Renegades are stars both on the field and on camera! My name is Emily Perrone and I work at NFL Films. I have had the pleasure of working with the Boston Renegades for months now, which has been an amazing experience.

I recall the discussion of including Allison Cahill in our new series Earnin’ It back in the summer. They asked if I would reach out about filming the team’s championship weekend, requesting as much access as they’d allow. Being only an intern at the time, getting to help coordinate something like this was exciting. Within a few hours, I was on the phone with Molly Goodwin, locking down what would become such a great start to NFL Films’ relationship with the Renegades. As I transitioned into my role as a Talent Producer a couple months later, I continued to work with the Renegades and coordinate more shoots for the series. They have been nothing short of fantastic from start to finish during this project.

After some time, I finally got looped in with Allison. Allison was beyond accommodating assisting me with my tasks. She was willing to do whatever we wanted, such as wire her, attend practices, follow her around work, and interview her mother and teammates. Her achievements are incredibly impressive, yet she remains such a humble person. We are so fortunate that we get to include her in our series and highlight her accomplishments. She truly is a role model for women in football, whether it’s players or women working in the industry.

Along with this, I also got to meet Adrienne Smith on a shoot when we interviewed her in New York City. She had the crew laughing the whole time. She showed up in her Renegades gear with all her championship rings on, ready to go! She was such an outgoing person and had many inspirational things to say about her teammates, especially Allison. You can tell from her stories that this team has a tight bond and truly cares about one another over themselves.

Everyone here at NFL Films has had nothing but positive things to say about their experiences with the Renegades. One of our directors for the series, Katie Morello, said “It was awesome to see a championship team conducting business at a championship level.” The Renegades continue to impress us. We have more than enough amazing content to feature in our series!

I am so happy to have been here for the start of what I believe will be an ongoing relationship between our company and the Boston Renegades. The team has so much growth potential and I hope we can continue to be there to showcase their future achievements. Thank you to everyone on the team for all your hard work!
