BOSTON — Eleven players from the Boston Renegades have been recognized as First Team All Americans by the Women’s Football Alliance (WFA). The complete Xenith All-American team rosters were revealed on the WFA’s website on May 15th.
First Team players are invited to represent the league’s National Conference at the Xenith All-American Game in advance of the WFA Pro National Championship Game. Both games take place on Sunday, July 10, 2022 in Canton, Ohio at Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in the Hall of Fame Village powered by Johnson Controls.

Spring Gamble #23, Linebacker
This is the third All-American selection for Spring Gamble. She is team co-leader with 37 tackles — a top 5 mark in the Pro Division. Gamble excelled in athletics from an early age, garnering recognition in youth baseball, youth football, and youth track and field in the city of Philadelphia. In 2019 she became the first female head coach in the history of Philadelphia’s famed Liberty Youth Athletic Association (Pop Warner). She earned recognition from the Philadelphia Eagles for her efforts in coaching and the community.
Hillary Crook #75, Offensive Line
Hillary Crook has earned her third consecutive All-American selection. She attended Jacksonville University where she was a three-time American Sun (ASUN) Conference indoor shot put champion. She is also a two-time ASUN Conference outdoor shot put champion. Prior to college, Crook was a three-time champion in Massachusetts for shot put while at Mansfield (Mass.) High School, where today she teaches health and physical education and coaches field events for the track and field program.
Tee Creech #5, Cornerback
This is Tee Creech‘s fifth All-American selection. She leads WFA Pro with four interceptions, returning one for a touchdown. Creech is also top 5 in pass deflections. She was a standout basketball player at James B. Hunt High School in Philadelphia, and a collegiate basketball player at Goldey-Beacom College.
Danielle Fournier #70, Defensive End
This is Danielle Fournier‘s third consecutive All-American selection. She is team co-leader with 37 tackles, 6 behind the line of scrimmage; both marks are top 5 in the Pro Division. Fournier is the 2021 WFA Defensive Player of the Year. She played rugby at the University of New Hampshire. And at North Andover (Mass.) High School, Fournier played basketball and had a stellar softball career where she was named a team captain, Rookie of the Year, and a Cape Ann League All-Star.
Chanté Bonds #21, Strong Safety
Earning her ninth all-star selection, Chanté Bonds was Defensive Player of the Year in 2017 and the WFA Most Valuable Player in 2018. She has two interceptions so far this season and leads the WFA Pro Division in interception return yards. Prior to her football career, she was an outstanding basketball player at Brockton (Mass.) High School. Bonds later helped Bentley University Women’s Basketball to the NCAA Division II Final Four in 2003 and was named Defensive Player of the Year by the Northeast 10 Conference.
Ruth Matta #22, Tailback
Ruth Matta leads the Pro Division in rushing touchdowns while ranking second in rushing yards. In 2019 she earned the MVP award in the WFA Pro National Championship Game. This is Matta’s second All-American selection. She is also one of Europe’s most decorated players. As a member of the Birmingham Lions of the British American Football Association (BAFA), Matta won six UK National Championships and twice earned Offensive Player of the Year. She is also a member of the British national team.
Adrienne Smith #10, Wide Receiver
A two-time gold medalist for Team USA (2010, 2013) as well as a four-time WFA national champion, Adrienne Smith proves her mettle year in and year out. One of the most predominant wide receivers in the game’s history, Adrienne surpassed a milestone 5,000 WFA receiving yards this season. As one of the game’s most effective ambassadors, Smith was named to Team Milk in 2022. She is also a five-time member of the US National Flag Football Team. Smith has earned 10 all-star selections in her tackle football career.
Tytti Kuusinen #46, Fullback
Tytti Kuusinen ranks second in touchdowns in the Pro Division. She lives up to her reputation as a bruising runner who can get tough yards. Kuusinen is one of Finland’s top players. She led the Helsinki Wolverines to three Maple Cup victories. She owns many of Finland’s individual records for running backs. As a member of Finland’s national team, Kuusinen earned gold medals at the 2015 and 2019 IFAF Women’s European Championships.
Stephanie Pascual #3, Wide Receiver
This is Stephanie Pascual‘s second All-American selection. She leads the team in receiving touchdowns and receiving yards per game. She is one of the best YAC gainers in the league. Pascual excelled in field hockey at Proctor Academy and then Mount Holyoke College. Pascual is Mount Holyoke’s all-time leader in penalty strokes made, and ranks in the top ten all-time in defensive saves.
Steph Jeffers #66, Defensive Tackle
Steph Jeffers‘ rugged play and domineering attitude have made her an eight-time all star. Jeffers hails from Barnstable, Mass., where she collected many track and field accolades throwing shot put and discus, Jeffers also won two Women’s World Championship gold medals playing on the U.S. Women’s National Football Team.
Allison Cahill #7, Quarterback
This is Allison Cahill’s fourteenth consecutive all-star selection. She is the Pro Division leader in most statistical benchmarks for quarterbacks including yards (706), completions (70), completion percentage (70.7%), and touchdowns (10). Cahill remains the only women’s football’s quarterback to have reached 100 career victories. A basketball star and all-time leading scorer at Uxbridge (Mass.) High School, she went on to play point guard for the Princeton Lady Tigers before pursuing football.
