Galvin Leggett played NCAA Division II football for the American International College (AIC) Yellow Jackets. After college, he joined the Boston Bandits men’s semiprofessional football team, where his play at safety earned him status as a league all-star and an American Football Association All-American. In 2009, Leggett was inducted into the New England Football League Hall of Fame.

In 2016 Leggett was a Defensive Quality Assurance Coach for the Renegades. He is also a youth football coach for the Brookline/Jamaica Plain Patriots.
