Sheila “LD” Dawson is an alumni and long-time supporter of Boston Women’s Football, and she has had several roles with the Boston Renegades. Presently she is the spotter for both announcers in the stadium media booth.

Dawson had a long and successful career in women’s football, playing with the Connecticut Crush (2005–2011) and the Boston Militia (2012-2013). After hanging up her cleats, she contributed as a game day statistician for the Militia before continuing that role with the Renegades in 2015.

Dawson proudly hails from St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. She graduated with Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of New Haven.
